Andrea Brosnan came up through the school at Berkeley Ballet Theater under Sally Streets, became an apprentice at 15 and joined the company shortly after. She graduated with honors from the LEAP (Liberal Education for Arts Professionals) program at St. Mary’s College. Andrea has taught and performed internationally in Germany and locally. She teaches ballet all over the Bay, and has been doing so and loving it for over 22 years! She has performed with both modern and ballet companies throughout the area including Santa Clara Ballet, Patricia Banchik’s Kineses, Aileen Kim, and is currently working with a local choreographer Chingchi Yu. She is especially inspired by working with the talented students and teachers of the Salimpour School.
